Hats off to the more than 1,000 candidates for graduation at Emporia State University.

Emporia State University is pleased to announce that over $3.5 million in scholarship funds are helping more than 1,700 students from Kansas, 23 other states and 32 foreign countries realize their educational dreams during the 2016-17 academic year.

Dean's List recognition is given to cadets registered for 12 or more semester hours and whose grade point average is 3.2 or higher with no grade below a C for the previous semester's work.

The President's List is one of the most distinguished cadet awards presented by The Citadel. It indicates excellence in academics and military duties. The list is a combination of the Dean's List and the Commandant's Distinguished List and is composed of cadets who contribute the most to their companies while maintaining excellent military and academic records.

In August, Champlain College welcomed the class of 2020 to its Burlington, Vt. campus.

JMU is pleased to announce that the following students made the president's list at James Madison University for the spring 2016 semester.
